First of many posts to keep our customers updated
Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC has signed two major contracts this year which will mean that we have an immense amount of model and toy trains as well as vintage die cast and other toys to sell for the foreseeable future. The train collection is from the estate of Joseph M Bak Jr, a past Train Collectors Association president who also owned his own Lionel Service station for many years. The trains consist of Lionel postwar, American Flyer S Gauge and some prewar O gauge, a large amount of HO scale brass, lots of O scale brass, epoxy resin and other kits, thousands of HO kits, cars, accessories and more from many different manufacturers but the one thing that seemed to be a common denominator was quality. Joe managed to amass a huge collection of very nice things and we will be unearthing more and more as the next two to three years go by so as to carefully expose what has ben hidden away for quite some time. Joe was also into early railroadiana and those items will be featured in our December 2018 auction along with a large number of high grade and valuable pieces from the collection as well as other consignments.
We also have just agreed to selling one of the nicest and largest die cast collections that I have ever seen, filled with fantastic condition pieces, many in sealed or unopened packages. The collection consists of redline and black walls Hot Wheels, Lesney Matchbox regular wheels and Superfast, Corgi, Dinky, Tomica, Playart, Ertl, Solido, Cox and more. This collection may take quite some time to sell as there are thousands of pieces to go through. We also have other smaller collections that we are selling and are always open to accept smaller consignments that can be mixed into our larger sales. We appreciate all of our customers and wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2018.
